Our Wines
In ancient Mediterranean cultures, wine was a symbol
of celebration. It was usually paired with food. This tradition survives
in Italy to this day. Italian families are always showing off locally
produced wines. Usually the wine comes from a friend, or a friend of
a friend. Generally when the family sits down for a Sunday meal, there
is a "Vino Tavola," or meal wine on the table. These wines
usually have a low alcohol content (somewhere near 11-12% by volume.)
Everyday wine is usually 8.5% to 10%. There is a reason that these wines
have such low alcohol content: Higher content doesn't enhance, but detracts,
from the taste of a meal.
While we wait for the beer and wine license, your are welcome to bring your own bottle of wine.
